Cufflinks Columns of Gediminas

Cufflinks Columns of Gediminas are handcrafted.  The texture of their silver surface gently treated by flame emphasizes prominent ornaments of polished silver – the Columns of Gediminas.  The cufflinks are splendid, symbolic, and meaningful, yet they look beautiful and stylish worn on any ordinary day.

Sterling silver

Production time could take up to three weeks if these cufflinks are not available in store at the moment.

In the beginning, the columns were a symbol of power and the ruler, they first appeared during the rule of Duke Vytautas (1397) and became his personal coat of arms.

Later, this symbol became the coat of arms of the Great Dutchy of Lithuania and appeared on the coins minted during the rule of Vytautas, Casimir, Sigismund the Old, and Sigismund Augustus.

With time the columns of Gediminas became the state symbol of Lithuania.
