Pendant Angel and a Lucky Star is created using our favorite antique and luxurious “hot enamel” (liquid glass) technique. Today it is not particularly favored, as it requires skill, precision and time (usually varnishing is preferred).
Enamel became popular thanks to Easter eggs created by the House of Fabergé (Gustav Fabergé) for the Russian czars. Easter collection (1885 – 1917) was created for the Russian Imperial family and private collectors featuring stylized, enameled spring celebration presents – eggs that became famous around the world.
Our angel is created using this technique. It guards its Star with a lot love and care.
