Hanging Earrings Apple Tree:
seems very Lithuanian, very “own”, really for everyday, although in the old Baltic mythology the fruit of apple trees – apples were identified with the sun, and the shape of the circle itself meant a full long life, fertility, cyclicality, infinity.
In our country, vegetation has long been under the protection and care of forests and wild apple trees. They made sense to people not only in Lithuania – they were one of the most beloved cultivated fruit trees that fed people.
